I searched a lot for a color picker but never found one that still gets developed, is free and fits my needs. This one is just pretty cool. Also thanks to the developers, it really helps a lot during the day.

Does not work correctly when using a Dual Monitor Setup, everything else is great
I thought this might be helpful but the picked colours are not exactly the same as those output by the App, making this tool useless for my purpose unfortunately.
Very nice colorpicker, useful for every designer…now you can use the OS X colorpicker even better! If you search for an additional colorpicker then try it!!!
I love this app. With the shortcut so use the picker and everything, that tool is great. Only bug i had, when i drag and drop the picked color on my swatches, the swatch does not appear in my swatches library. I have to close the app and re-open it so that my saved swatches appear. And even if i created a swatch group in my preferences, they wont appear in the swatch window.. I did not consulted the website for support yet, maybe i did not use it correctly or maybe the answer is there. Anyway, i will still use this fantastic app, great tool, great interface, easy to use, fast to use!
I just wanted a simple colour picker for tweaking web pages. This tool does that. I don’t really use any other features….
This is a great little app I use frequently throughout the day. It’s simple and easy to use. I’ve found no downside in using it.
Great!
This app is a must have as developer/ designer. Great and powerful, awesome
Color Picker has worked perfectly for me on my MacBook Pro.
I am an iOS developer and this makes design for my job infinetly easier. Make a couple of clicks and the UIColor is in my clipboard. So freaking easy. Love it.
This one is worth the meager pricetag. Grabbing colors from the screen, getting their HEX value is something I do constantly (as I make all of my companies outdated sites responsive). The “Swatch” ability is great to categorize items per project. I would like to see the ability to name the swatches, and potentially output a LESS/SASS variable type document. Keep up the good work!
There are a plethera of color pickers. There are few that have the ability to create groups of color for a specific clients or projects. This one does. For that alone it is worth the price. It is also clean and intuative. It allows quick access from the menu bar. Great little app. Does what is needed.
Clean and simple. Just two minor issues. One is the inability to assign a name to swatches. The second is a small bug that when renaming swatch folders. the new name doesn’t appear in the preferences dialogue. It only displays in the app, which could make it difficult to assign names if they were all displayed as “New Swatch"
It’s fantastic to have something so easy to create custom palettes. It makes quick work out of a chore.
This app is a good idea, but it doesn’t work on multiple monitors, where one monitor has a different screen size than the other. On the shorter monitor, the eye dropper picks up pixels that are vertically offset by a few hundred pixels from the mouse. In other words, the app picks colors from an area of the screen that isn’t under the mouse - instead picking from an area well above where the mouse is located. If the eye dropper can be fixed this would be a useful app, but until then it’s just a good idea.
App does exactly what I need it to. Perhaps a more expansive interface would be nice (Pro version maybe?). Very nice app.
This is a FANTASTIC app for any UI developer, etc., especially if you are working in XCode. Please charge $5 for this app moving forward!!
It’s a good app but it has some problems. It could be pretty better if it has something that we choose color like photoshop not just pick up the color from out of the app.
I downloaded this app not expecting much but it overshot my expectations completly. Not only does it give an RGB and HTML example of the color, but it also gives multiple Objective-C examples. I would reccomend this app to anyone.
