I sampled some colors fromt he screen and thought it odd with I sampled a huge red square and the picker returned a muddy brown color….I compared the hex from another app and this one is way off…weird.

Great app! But I work with multiple monitors… and this doesn’t! On my smaller monitor (where all of my design documents live) when I go towards the top tenth of the screen the picker thinks I’ve gone beyond the top of the screen—so the loupe is off by nearly 100px vertically on this monitor which makes it unusable! I’m looking through the settings but nothing seems to remedy the problem. I want so badly to give this app a 5 star rating. It deserves. But I can’t because of this major kink. Patrick, this should definitely be a priority #1 bug fix!

WOrks great, I like the option to make a swatch panel. AS some have mentioned its broken on muliple monitor setups. Fix that, and I could give a 5 star rating. But heck, that for the great program, it was free when others want to charge.

Works better than most. All the others I have tried are too slow on a 2010 Mac Pro tower and 2013 Mac Air running a fresh install of Yosemite. This one is a little slow with the magnify glass cursor but I can work with that. Sometimes the desktop cursor becomes hidden after selecting a color, but a quick click on the top desktop bar returns it.

I use this all the time to pick colors. I’d gladly pay for this app, because it’s a great time saver.

HEX colors must be lowercase (for web).

This is a perfect app, it’s something alot if developers need, it really comes in handy when looking for new colors and even shows you the Objective-C code to use in your app. This isn’t really bad thing but also add the swift version of the code it provides, it would be really helpful and time saving, thanks!

Great app, for a great price! Great UIColor option. Only, please add automatic copy to clipboard. Showing the main menu isn’t the best.

As another user pointed out, using multiple monitors pretty much makes this unusable. The picker is offset by about 30% of the screen height from where the pixel actually is. Not great.

Using Edit -> Copy to Clipboard (RGB), doesn’t work. Other copy to clipboards seem to work fine. On OSX 10.11.2

This is fantastic for developers. It copies the raw RGB values, unlike the system picker. I recommend using it in conjunction with the Crayons Xcode plugin via Alcatraz.

I use it at home on my Mac + a thunderbold display with no issues. On my El Capitan MBP It does not capture values from Chrome and a few other apps. But does capture values from other programs hidden behind. Not sure what the issue is, I otherwise never had an issue with it.

All I can say is its awesome. Saved me.

I have the multiple monitor issue that others have mentioned. Position on the monitor appears to be offset vertically (making it impossible to select pixels near the top portion of the screen). Otherwise its been great, but unfortunately I’ll have to find a replacement :(.
